Temperature check – how are you holding up?

How was your week last week? Did you fail to meet a deadline? Did you celebrate an anniversary? Did you get in an argument with your mom? If there’s one thing we all have in common, it’s that our lives are full of ups and downs. Everything is going great… until it’s not.

We know, that sounds so depressing. We’re not trying to ruin your Monday. There is a bright side to these ups and downs. Through the tumultuous and long days, our failures and successes (probably more our failures tbh) give us a reason to hope. They refine us. They turn us into better versions of ourselves if we’re willing to let God work them out for good.

Coming up this week.

This week of Daily Drops is full of stories of strength and weakness, highs and lows, destruction and refinement. The best part? These are real stories from vulnerable people just like you, that want you to hear what the Bible has taught them through their trials.

We hope these stories inspire you to face your giants, mend that broken relationship, rethink giving up on your dream, build a community you trust, forgive yourself for the decisions you regret, and fully focus on the good.

Easier said than done, we know. Just pick one of those things. Pick your biggest giant and make it your goal to face it in the next 7 days.

If something speaks to you or maybe you’re just filled with more questions, please reach out to us at care@tomeapp.com or on Instagram. We’d like to open a dialogue and look forward to real and authentic conversations with you.

Before we part ways this week, just a word of encouragement for you to carry with you in the days ahead:

Take a step. We know it’s hard if you feel like you’ve been beat down. Pray for strength and put one foot in front of the other and keep going. If not for you, do it for those watching you, for a world that needs you to be who you were divinely created to be. Take a deep breath, take the smallest step forward, and celebrate that progress.

You know where to find us next week when a new round of Tome’s start dropping — right here. Have a great week!
